The Home Efficiency Rebate Plus program provides rebates to homeowners who make energy-efficient upgrades to their homes. To qualify for the program, homeowners must be a customer of Comfort Zone Heating & Air Conditioning and fall under certain parameters. Home Efficiency Rebate Plus (HER+) Program Details
Home Efficiency Rebate Plus, or HER+, is a collaborative rebate program from Enbridge Gas and Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), combining their Home Efficiency Rebate (HER) and Canada’s Greener Homes Grant (CGHG) programs. Now collaborating with Comfort Zone Heating & Air Conditioning for energy-saving upgrades that put cash back in your pocket!
The new Home Efficiency Rebate Plus/HER+ program has new eligibility criteria. Residents may be eligible for rebates that they didn’t qualify for in the previous HER or CGHG programs, such as heat-pump rebates for Enbridge Gas customers living in rental properties.
Those who qualify for this rebate opportunity are homeowners that are serviced by Enbridge Gas, primary residences that are not a customer of Enbridge Gas, rental properties that are an Enbridge Gas customer, Off-grid communities living in a permanent or long-term (5 years or more) settlement with at least 10 dwellings, and multi-unit residential buildings owners.
Homeowners and landlords can take advantage of up to $10,600 in energy efficiency rebates through the Home Efficiency Rebate Plus (HER+) program. They are eligible for $10,000 in energy efficiency upgrades and up to $600 for pre and post-retrofit energy audits (a one-time rebate)
